Design transfer film (often called DTF transfer film or Direct-to-Film) is a specialized PET (polyester) sheet used to print and transfer full-color graphics onto fabric or other materials. It acts as a temporary carrier for your design, which is heat-pressed onto garments for a durable, high-quality finish.
To maximize the lifespan of your DTF (Direct-to-Film) printed apparel, wait 24–48 hours after pressing before the first wash to let the adhesive fully cure. Always turn the garment inside out, machine wash cold with a mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softeners, and tumble dry on low or hang to dry.
